Ochsner Childrens Clinic

DonahueFavret Contractors renovated a 17,500 SF existing retail space into this Children’s Clinic for Ochsner Health. The building houses two separate clinics, pediatrics and pediatric rehabilitation. Two main corridors separate the two clinics, each with exam rooms, nurses’ stations, and a rehabilitative gym to optimize physical, cognitive, and social function of patients. The project proposed some challenges with replacing all the rooftop units, updating the HVAC system, and working around the 25-foot metal stud walls to install drywall. The floors consist of sheet vinyl throughout the building and wall covering in most of the exam rooms with markerboard finish.
