Ground-up facility now delivers vital community services.
TCA Littlewoods Head Start Center serves low-income children and the community of Littlewoods in New Orleans East. The ground-up facility consists of education services, social services, services for children with disabilities, and indoor play areas with respective exterior classrooms. Every classroom has a glass facade that leads to private patios. The design used environmentally friendly materials. Rain screen panels made from recycled materials collect and distribute stormwater to native plants.
