Maura W. Donahue

Maura has been a key member of DonahueFavret since joining the company in 1981. She is an owner of DonahueFavret and continues to serve as Executive Vice President. Maura is a past chair of the Board of Directors of the United States Chamber of Commerce, the world’s largest business federation, and is proud to have served two separate terms in that role. She currently serves on the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, the Audit Committee, and the Compensation Committee of the Chamber.

Maura is the former chair of the Northshore Regional Board, former chair of the Board of LABI, former chair of Greater New Orleans Inc., former chair of Legatus Northshore, and currently serves on the board for Resource Bank and the Northshore Community Foundation. Formerly, Maura also served on the board for Blueprint Louisiana, the State of Louisiana Board of Commerce & Industry, the St. Tammany Parish Economic Development Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West, and served on the Advisory Board of Entergy Louisiana. She chaired the board of the West St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Board of Regents of Our Lady of Holy Cross College and the Committee of 100 Economic Development (C100) in Louisiana.

She is a graduate of Leadership Louisiana and Leadership St. Tammany West, who named Maura its Leadership Alumni of the Year. She was twice named a Woman of the Year honoree by the New Orleans Publishing Group. She was awarded Person of the Year by the Associated Builders and Contractors Bayou Chapter in 2004. In 2007 Maura was honored as Woman of the Year for St. Tammany West Business and Professional Women, and was inducted into the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame in 2008. The Louisiana Center for Women in Government & Business named Maura Corporate Executive of the year in 2013. In 2014, Maura was presented with an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Our Lady of Holy Cross College. She received the Ed Steimel Achievement Award from LABI in 2006. In 2020 Maura was awarded the prestigious Dennis Shaheen Award from the US Chamber of Commerce.
