Long-standing regional healthcare provider receives expanded medical facility.
The Carrollton Health Center is one of the locations for Daughters of Charity. Daughters of Charity have provided compassionate health care in New Orleans for 180 years. This location provides the New Orleans Uptown area with primary and preventative health care for children, adults and seniors. Services include women’s health, eye care, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, podiatry and women/infant/ children care.
This building was constructed using a deep foundation, structural steel with concrete floors. Part of the roof was built using a wood truss system to give a hip roof down the center of the building. The building also ties into an existing building on the property. The structure includes 24,000 square feet and was completed in 11 months.
