Multi-Family | Houma, LA

Bayou Cane Apartments

Design-assist delivery conforms to Enterprise Green Communities Criteria.

The Bayou Cane Apartment complex in the Houma area was completed for Renaissance Development Neighborhood Corporation, a subsidiary of the Volunteers of America Greater New Orleans. This 82-unit multi-family mixed-income development is situated on four acres of land in Terrebonne Parish. Amenities provided are a community center, a shared courtyard, sidewalks, a playground, a dog park, and a leasing office. Fifteen percent of the units are designed to accommodate tenants with mobility impairment. The buildings are certified by Energy Star and conform to the Enterprise Green Communities Criteria.

DonahueFavret was the general contractor, and its Preconstruction Services Department provided design-assist services from the start, along with design-build on the MEP systems.
