Arts Apartments (In Progress)

DonahueFavret Contractors worked with the Ownership group to bring this important multifamily project to New Orleans. This ground-up, stick-framed apartment building covers 4 floors and 40 mixed-income units. The design-assist portion of the project took roughly 6 months where our Preconstruction Department worked with the design team to bring the project into budget. The project, which will be rated and certified as FORTIFIED Gold as designated by the FORTIFIED Multifamily standard, aims for 30% DBE participation and integrates green characteristics that exceed energy efficiency requirements, using recycled content, local materials, and adhering to air quality restrictions. The building will have a FORTIFIED TPO roof, brick, and Nichiha finishes. The project is scheduled for completion in 14 months and will be submitted to the Home Innovations Research Lab to attain Bronze certification.
